I (Clyde Peach, CO ABC Certified Orthotist #1321/1978) created my original X1 Blade "Stop the Ouch" carbon fiber insole - a triflex carbon fiber foot blade - to treat my patients with various injuries to their painful big toe. Each original X1 Blade "Stop the Ouch" insole is an advanced carbon fiber contoured blade that has three elasticity regions designed for differing flexibility and stiffness zones to enhance normal motion while limiting the ouch caused by hallux rigidus, gout, etc.

The "Stop the Ouch" Blade's contoured TriZone design is only rigid where necessary at TriZone 1 - under your big toe!  Zone 2 (midfoot) and Zone 3 (rearfoot) of my original X1 Blade are flexible allowing unrestricted ankle motion along the X1 Blades naturally contoured shape.

Great toe pain caused by: osteoarthritis, gout, arthritis, hallux rigidus, hallux limitus, great toe fusion (pre-surgery or post-surgery failure) also phantom pain post great toe amputation.

Features and Benefits
